The swimming beach is 450 feet in length and features wheelchair access, a "raindrop" water fountain, "Aqua Jump" water trampoline with Aqua Launch attachment, slip-n-slide, floating slide, vending machines, changing area and restrooms, and a covered picnic area. Family Fun Days are scheduled throughout the summer months.The beach is protected by certified lifeguards and park rangers will be at or nearby the area for visitors' total safety. Ottawa Metro Park Ottawa Metro Park provides many different outdoor recreation opportunities for your enjoyment on 287.3 acres . Visitors can spend the day fishing & boating on the 89 acre Lima Lake reservoir and swimming at Ottawa Metro Park beach. Enjoy a picnic or stay overnight at the campground. Features:
OTTAWA METRO PARK CAMPGROUND Our friendly family-oriented self registering campground features thirty spacious campsites with three handicap accessible sites. Each site has hook-up for water and electric (minimum of 50 amp), picnic table, lantern holder, and fire ring. For the larger RV owners, eight pull through sites are available. A convenient dump station is located within the campground. Paved walkways and paths connect campsites to the modern shower/restroom facility with vending area as well as connecting to many other features of the Ottawa Metro Park. Campsites are available on a "first come, first serve" basis.
