Spring Begins!

Finally! Spring officially begins at 11:33 a.m. today, so start the new season the right way – with a walk in nature! Join a naturalist for an evening hike in Haver Ridge, including a stop by the wetlands to look for salamanders and listen for frogs. While one of the more recent additions, this park, and certainly its namesake, are an important part of the Park District’s 50-year history. Haver Ridge offers approximately 1.5 miles of moderate trails. Dress for the weather and ground conditions. Register online by Mar. 18.
