KILLDEER PLAINS WILDLIFE FIELD TRIP

Ride along as we partner with the Tri- Moraine Audubon Society to explore some of the 8,000+ acres of wetlands, prairies, and woodlots as we look for ducks, hawks, owls, woodpeckers, and other passerines. Prepare to be out in the weather and pack a lunch/snacks/ beverages. Field guides/ binoculars/scopes are encouraged, but we will share! Some walking, but we will be mostly driving between points of interest. A carpool, including the park van, will depart at 10 a.m. from the Lima’s Eastgate Mall parking lot behind Wendy’s on SR 309. The Park van will plan to return around 4 p.m. Beginner and experienced birders are welcome. Please call 419-221-1232 to register by March 22.
