Sunrise Hike

Celebrate the shortest day of the year with a hike in the largest and one of the most beautiful parks! Marking the start of winter, the winter solstice means longer days ahead as our part of the earth tilts back toward the warmth of the sun. We’ll meet at the Cottonwood Trail Access, part of Kendrick Woods, and take a trail that overlooks the river as the sun breaks the horizon. Be prepared for the weather and ground conditions.
