Walk Among Native Plants

Join us for a free morning program to learn about native plants at the Kiracofe Prairie at Kendrick Woods.  Our speaker and guide is Cadence Richard.  Cadence is a recent high school graduate and has done extensive work with native plants with the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District as well as at her own home.  You can expect to learn about why native plants are important, how you can incorporate them yourself at your own home and see them in-person as we walk through the prairie.  Registration is not required but is appreciated at the link below.  You will receive a confirmation email after registering as well as a map to the specific location.
